Pripol™ 1009 by Cargill is a distilled & hydrogenated dimer acid with very high purity, high difunctionality and low color. It offers improved mechanical performance, water repellency, thermo-oxidative stability and excellent hydrolysis- & chemical resistance. It exhibits flexibility which allows product to deform under stress and prevents cracking. It also imparts pigment wetting properties which allow high loading of pigment/fillers and can bring cost savings. Pripol™ 1009 is designed for 3D printing, biopolymers, elastomers and engineering plastics. It is ISCC PLUS certified.
