Optislip™ VRX (Powder) by Cargill is a bio-based oleamide-based anti-blocking and slip agent in polyolefins. It exhibits good scuff resistance, high slip, mold- and torque release.
- It offers improved oxidative stability, color, odor and shelf-life compared to other amides.
- It can be dispersed evenly through the polymer in melt phase thus migrates to the surface of polymer where it forms a thin lubricating layer.
- It reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.
- It is suitable for PVC, EVA, nylon and TPE applications.
- The recommended usage level is 500-2000 ppm for films and 0.2-1.0% for molding applications.
- Optislip™ VRX (Powder) has a shelf life of 365 days.
