Optislip™ OR (Powder) by Cargill acts as high slip and anti-blocking agent for polyolefins with quick migration properties. It is non-vegetable origin, refined primary unsaturated amide that provides good scuff- & scratch resistance, mold- and torque release.
- It disperses evenly through the polymer in the melt phase and migrates to the surface where it forms a thin lubricating layer that reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.
- It is suitable for PVC, EVA, nylon and TPE applications.
- Recommended addition level is 500-2000 ppm for films and 0.2-1.0% for molding applications.
- Optislip™ OR (Powder) has a shelf life of 180 days.
