Atmer™ 103

Atmer™ 103 by Cargill is a vegetable- or non vegetable-based effective anti-fogging agent (for LDPE, LLDPE and PVC based agricultural films) and processing aid (for PLA & PLA blends). It migrates to the surface of the polymer where it helps to lower the surface tension and subsequently reduces water droplets allowed to condense on the plastic that is then able to spread into a continuous, uniform layer on the fabricated film.

• It offers improved growth rates for crops and reduced plant & crop spoilage.
• It exhibits a good lubrication effect which improves flow of the polymers during processing and allows more complex or thin-walled articles to be produced.
• It maintains light transmission and transparency of the film.
• It is also suitable for use in EVA food wraps.
• The recommended dosage level is 1-5%.
• It has a shelf life of 730 days.
