STERLING® 142

STERLING® 142 by Cabot is a semi-reinforcing furnace black with very highly aggregated ultimate particles. It offers low surface area, high loading capacity, good dynamic properties, low level of reinforcement and easy processing. It is suitable for extruded or calendered at high speed with smooth surfaces and good dimensional stability. It exhibits very good extrusion characteristics, elasticity and resistance to creep. STERLING® 142 is recommended for tire manufacture including tire carcass and tube compounds, extruded articles such as automotive door gaskets, weather-strip and seals and molding compounds such as engine mountings.
