PLASGREY® PG4166

Supplied byCabot- Last Updated on Jul 24, 2017

Titanium dioxide and carbon black pigment masterbatch with LDPE as polymer carrier. It is compatible with LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and ethylene copolymers. It is designed to give optimum pigment dispersion and allow for high speed film extrusion by reducing blocking even at high nip temperatures. It is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. It is typically used in film for garbage bags and heavy duty sacks, injection molded parts and drainage pipes. The amount of masterbatch added depends on the performance requirements of the final application. Its typical addition rates vary from 2% to 5%.
