BRUGGOLEN® R8895

BRUGGOLEN® R8895 by Brüggemann is a novel stabilizer package for upcycling of polypropylene waste streams from battery cases, that may contain a high level of acids. It is based on partially renewable raw materials. This mixture of antioxidants and co-stabilizers is available in a low dust compacted granular product form. It is a high quality recyclate via a novel chemical system and provides a one pack solution. This additive offers prolonged retention of mechanical properties during long term heat aging and improved process stability. This easy-to-handle grade allows very accurate dosing and also provides excellent dispersion & neutralization of waste battery case acids. Also, additive level of addition can be adjusted to suit optimal performance. The addition to the polymer melt is best done by compounding on twin screw extrusion machines. The recommended level of addition is about 0.2-1.2%. The shelf life of BRUGGOLEN® R8895 is at least 12 months.
