BRUGGOLEN® M1253

BRUGGOLEN® M1253 by Brüggemann acts as a modifier. It is a highly reactive chain extender based on modified polyamide. It imparts increased melt viscosity, improved impact strength and increased elongation at break in glass reinforced polyamides.

• The polyamide molecular weight can be increased permanently with it.
• It offers regeneration and transformation of polyamide fiber waste to higher quality extrusion grades, applicable for common technical parts at much lower price levels.
• It possess no influence on the homogeneity of the polyamide melt and no formation of gel structures.
• It is suitable for processing by injection molding.
• The dosage level of the grade is 0.3-0.5% in fiber spinning processes and 0.5 to 1.5% in compounding or extrusion processes, depending on the basic polyamide and the desired properties of the finished parts.
• BRUGGOLEN® M1253 has a shelf life of 12 months under (sealed, dry, 25°C) conditions.
