Chemical foaming agent. Characterized by exothermic decomposition. Used for extrusion and molding applications where lower processing temperatures are used. Maximum gas yields are achieved when processing temperatures of 177 - 204°C are reached. Usage level of injection molding and extrusion is 1- 3% and 0.5- 1.5% respectively.
