Tinuvin® 494 AR by BASF is a proprietary mixture of a methylated high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) and co-additives. Acts as an excellent UV stabilizer with outstanding pesticide/insecticide resistance.
- Suitable for agricultural film applications, whenever crop protection chemicals can be a threat to film durability.
- It is used in various applications including polyolefins (PP, PE) and olefin copolymers such as EVA and EBA.
- The recommended dosage level of Tinuvin® 494 AR is 1.0-2.5%.
