Tinuvin® 312 by BASF acts as a UV absorber belonging to the oxanilide class. Recommended for rigid and flexible PVC and polyesters.
- Exhibits excellent chemical resistance, no reactivity with alkalis and additional thermal stability to polyamides.
- Imparts outstanding light stability to plastics and other organic substrates.
- Features strong UV absorption, excellent compatibility in a wide variety of substrates and low volatility.

- Shows low wavelength absorbance, no impact on color and transparency of the substrate.
- Suitable for polyesters, PVC plastisol, polyurethanes, polyamides, polymethylmethacrylate, polybutylene terephthalate, polycarbonates and cellulose esters.
- It can be combined with optical brighteners.
- The usage level of Tinuvin® 312 ranges between 0.10 and 1.0 % depending on the substrate and performance requirements of the final application.
