Irgastab® PUR 70 by BASF is a BHT- & amine-free heat stabilizer blend for polyols. It exhibits good resistance to scorch, fogging and textile staining. Offers low VOC & FOG emissions, outstanding gas-fading resistance and extremely low light-induced discoloration. It allows dust free handling, automatic dosage and shortening of mixing time. It is suitable for polyether- and polyester-based flexible foams and PUR flexible foams in automotive applications as per VDA 278 10/11. Irgastab® PUR 70 can also be applied in combination with additional antioxidants, co-stabilizers (phosphites) and light stabilizers (HALS, UVA). Recommended usage level in slabstock polyol applications is 0.4-0.45% and in molding polyol grades is 0.05-0.1%.
