Irgastab® IS 3066L by BASF is a 40% active aqueous micro-emulsion, a thermal stabilizer package for vinyl polymers. It protects the substrates against thermal degradation of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) during manufacturing, processing and end-use. It provides excellent heat stability, low color and high thermal stability. Irgastab® IS 3066L offers good chain terminating properties during PVC polymerization. It reduces the formation of fish eyes in film applications. The recommended usage level is 0.03-0.08% as chain stopper and thermal stabilizer for the PVC polymerization.
