ColorMatrix™ Lactra™ Zero

ColorMatrix™ Lactra™ Zero by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a high-performance light blocking additive for PET dairy and dairy-alternative packaging. It helps to protect longer shelf life products, especially ultra-high temperature (UHT) liquid dairy products, from visible light-induced oxidation due to ambient storage conditions. It has a total inorganic content less than 4% and TiO2 content options between 4% and 0%. It offers light blocking up to 99.9%, improved performance (>99.8% up to 700nm) in thin wall sections, superior whiteness and processability with non-reheat grades of PET and rPET. It reduces equipment wear and tear. Applications include monolayer PET bottles. ColorMatrix™ Lactra™ Zero is REACH compliant and EU food contact approved.
