ColorMatrix™ Lactra™ Four

ColorMatrix™ Lactra™ Four by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a high-performance light blocking additive for PET dairy and dairy-alternative packaging applications. It helps to extends the shelf life of products, especially ultra-high temperature (UHT) liquid dairy products by providing protection from visible-light induced degradation under commercially relevant storage conditions. It has a total inorganic content <4% and TiO2 content options between 4% and 0%. It offers light blocking up to 99.9%, improved performance (>99.8% up to 700nm) in thin wall sections, superior whiteness and processability with non-reheat grades of PET and rPET. It reduces equipment wear and tear. Applications include monolayer PET bottles. ColorMatrix™ Lactra™ Four is REACH compliant and EU food contact approved.
