ColorMatrix™ AAzure™ Acetaldehyde Control Additive

ColorMatrix™ AAzure™ Acetaldehyde Control Additive by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a processing aid to enhance rPET (recycled PET) processability. It is suitable for PET and rPET preforms with added acetaldehyde (AA) control capabilities. It overcomes bottle mechanical strength and can be combined with recycle-friendly toners to offset the yellowing common with increased rPET content. ColorMatrix™ AAzure™ Acetaldehyde Control Additive provides a reduction in the energy required to heat preforms, which promotes roughly 25% lower carbon emissions.
