Luperox® P (low Water) by Arkema is an initiator is versatile organic peroxide. It is a technically pure tert-butyl peroxybenzoate, of low water content. It is used in polymerization of styrene to form polystyrene resins, or for curing of unsaturated polyesters. Luperox® P (low Water) is recommended as a 2nd step initiator, when used to make expandable polystyrene.
