Luperox® DCP by Arkema acts as a polymerization initiator, vulcanizing and crosslinking agent. It is dicumyl peroxide (DCP). It is compatible with thermoplastic elastomer vulcanizates, polypropylene and expandable polystyrene.
- It is suitable for use as finisher and as synergist for fire retardant EPS applications.
- Luperox® DCP can be processed at temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) and can be cured at temperatures above 300°F (149°C).
- It is recommended for general & renewable energy applications such as wire and cable.
