SAYTEX® BT-93W Flame Retardant by Albemarle is ethylenebistetrabromophthalimide-based flame retardant. It possesses very good thermal and UV stability as well as excellent wet electrical properties. Being non-blooming, is used in such critical applications as polyolefin films where good heat sealability is required. It is used in polyolefins, high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), thermoplastic polyesters (PBT, PET, etc.), polycarbonate and elastomers. This grade is ideal for use in foams, wire and cable applications. SAYTEX® BT-93W Flame Retardant follows strict environmental standards, such as RoHS and supports VECAP & green chemistry principles.
