SAYTEX® 8010ZD Flame Retardant

SAYTEX® 8010ZD Flame Retardant by Albemarle acts as a highly efficient, environment-friendly, non-blooming non-deca-based flame retardant. It is particularly well-suited for styrenic polymers such as HIPS and ABS, engineering resins, polyolefins for wire and cable, and elastomers. It is used in foams and wire and cable.

• It is a non-diphenyl-oxide-based product containing a high level of bromine (71%).
• Exhibits good thermal- and UV stability and improved impact strength, melt-flow, and elongation properties.
• Its convenient pellet form minimizes dust for virtually zero environmental emissions, reduces waste disposal costs, and simplifies manufacturing via faster changeovers and cleanup, reducing operating costs.
