Akrowax™ Micro 23

Akrowax™ Micro 23 by Akrochem is a 100% microcrystalline wax. It is a complex mixture of long-chain straight- and branched paraffin, as well as mono- and polycyclic aliphatic material. It gives a high melt point due to its higher molecular weight. It functions as a good internal release and flow promoter in products. It migrates slowly to the surface of the rubber. It is a blend with fast migrating, lower melt point paraffin wax to provide a bloomed film that has good flexibility and wide service temperature range. Akrowax™ Micro 23 is used as an indirect or direct food additive. It complies with FDA.
