Akrowax™ 5050 by Akrochem is a 50/50 blend of micro-crystalline and fully refined paraffin wax derived from petroleum. It is designed to inhibit cracking and frosting of rubber vulcanization. It is a non-staining wax and provides strong year-round protection under average climate conditions. Akrowax™ 5050 melts and disperses easily with no effect on cure rate. It complies with FDA and can be used in indirect or direct food additives.
