Akrofax™ BR

Akrofax™ BR by Akrochem is a light-yellow, medium-hard, sulfur-vulcanized vegetable oil. It absorbs large amounts of mineral oils and liquid plasticizer on mill and banbury. It exhibits ability to flow or promote flow under mechanical pressure. It reduces migration of oils and plasticizers to the surface in low durometer stocks. It increases the incorporation of fillers and milling efficiency. It is specially treated for extreme dryness. It enhances ozone resistance of the rubber compounds. It provides non-thermoplastic structure in uncured compounds that strengthen extruded sections and minimizes distortions in open steam cures. Akrofax™ BR offers unique surface finish and supple feel to vulcanized rubber goods. It is used in tubing and calendared products for dimensional stability.
