Akrofax™ 9970 White

Akrofax™ 9970 White by Akrochem is a white, medium-hard, vulcanized vegetable oil, made from pure rapeseed oil and mineral stabilize. It absorbs large amounts of mineral oils and liquid plasticizer on mill and banbury. It reduces migration of oils and plasticizers to the surface in low durometer stocks. It improves ozone resistance of the rubber compounds. It increases the incorporation of fillers and milling efficiency. It provides non-thermoplastic structure in uncured compounds that strengthen extruded sections and minimizes distortions in open steam cures. It offers unique surface finish and supple feel to vulcanized rubber goods. It exhibits ability to flow or promote flow under mechanical pressure. The tendency of the white factices to retard cure can be overcome by the addition of magnesium oxide and thiuram. Akrofax™ 9970 White is designed for erasers and white or light pastel-colored applications.
