Akrofax™ 57 White

Akrofax™ 57 White by Akrochem is a white, medium-hard, vulcanized vegetable oil, made from pure rapeseed oil and mineral stabilize. It used sulfur monochloride to cure the vegetable oil, that acidifies rubber cures. It absorbs large amounts of mineral oils and liquid plasticizer on mill and banbury. It reduces migration of oils and plasticizers to the surface in low durometer stocks. It provides non-thermoplastic structure in uncured compounds that strengthen extruded sections and minimizes distortions in open steam cures. It improves ozone resistance of the rubber compounds. It increases the incorporation of fillers and milling efficiency. It offers a unique surface finish and supple feel to vulcanized rubber goods. It exhibits the ability to flow or promote flow under mechanical pressure. Akrofax™ 57 White is suitable in erasers and white or light-colored applications. Recommended dosage level to recover cure rate is 3-4 phr of MgO and 0.25-0.4 phr of a guanidine (DPG or DOTG).
