Akrochem® Zinc Oxide XFT-MA

Akrochem® Zinc Oxide XFT-MA by Akrochem is fine particle size zinc oxide serving as a curing agent/activator. It is made from high purity zinc metal and coated with small amount of propionic acid to aid dispersion in rubber. It is used in white and colored rubber articles, where zinc oxide of good color and chemical purity is desired. It is suitable for dynamic applications where internal heat build-up is a problem, as it possesses high heat transferability. It is more effective than titanium dioxide and good UV protection in non-black compounds uses 10% of ZnO. It increases activation of cure in latex application, due to its fine particle size and high surface area. Akrochem® Zinc Oxide XFT-MA protects non-black articles from UV-weathering.
