Accelerator TETD

Supplied byAkrochem- Last Updated on May 18, 2023

Accelerator TETD by Akrochem is a very active, sulfur-bearing, non-discoloring accelerator. It also acts as a primary accelerator for cure systems requiring very low or no sulfur. It is a cure modifier in W/G-type neoprene and can be used in combination with thiazole or sulfonamide curing systems. It contains 10.8% available sulfur and also suitable for synthetic rubber. It is easy to handle polymer-bound dispersion providing better uniformity of mix at low temperature, upgrade plant safety and quality. Accelerator TETD can be blended with TMTD to reduce the tendency of the compound to bloom while maintaining cure activity. In natural rubber applications, zinc oxide and fatty acid are required.
