EFOX 101 by AKPA Kimya is 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di (tert-butyl peroxy) hexane tert-butyl peroxyneodecanoate. It acts as an efficient initiator for the degradation of polypropylene (CR-PP) at 200-250°C. It offers great flexibility in controlling a polymer’s melt flow index (MFI). It can also be used as a chaser catalyst to reduce residual monomer in mass polymerization of styrene. The shelf life of the product is 3 months. EFOX 101 complies with REACH regulation EC No 1907/2006, regulation EC No 1272/2008 and commission regulation EU No 2015/830.
