All Vulcanizing Agents (Inhibitors) for Plastic Compounds

ELASTOMAG® 170 by Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties is micronized and highly reactive magnesium oxide. Acts as a vulcanizing or scorch retarder in a variety of elastomers. Also acts as a thickening agent as well as an acid acceptor. Can also be used as anti-caking agent. Recommended for halogenated polymers (as acid acceptor), sheet and bulk molding compounds (as thickening agent).

ELASTOMAG® 100 by Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties is magnesium oxide. Highly active. Acts as a vulcanizing or scorch retarder in a variety of elastomers. ELASTOMAG® 100 acts as a thickening agent as well as an acid acceptor. Can also be used as anti-caking agent. Recommended for halogenated polymers (as acid acceptor), sheet and bulk molding compounds (as thickening agent).

Rhenogran® CTP-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a pre-vulcanization inhibitor for natural- and synthetic rubber. It retards the onset of cure in rubber without considerably extending the total curing time. It is used with sulfenamide or thiazole accelerators to improve processing safety. It enhances the storage stability of uncured compounds. It increases machine capacity utilization, when added in processing of rubber compounds at higher temperatures. It causes only very slight dis-coloration in bright or white articles. It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. It is applicable in the production of tires, conveyor belts, shoe soles, technical molded and extruded articles. Recommended dosage level of Rhenogran® CTP-80 is 0.2-2 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years.

Stangard® CTP-PWD-D by Harwick Standard is a N-(cyclohexylthio)phthalimide. It is a vulcanization inhibitor available in white crystal or oil treated powder form. It is a true retarder, as it only affects cure, not the modulus development. It is non-staining and only slightly discoloring when used in light colored compounds. Stangard® CTP-PWD-D is suitable for sulfonamides, elastomers, NR, IR, EPDM, IIR, CR, NBR and SBR. It complies with TSCA.

Actmix® CTP-80GE F500 by Ningbo Actmix Rubber Chemicals is a cyclohexylthiophthalimide. Acts as a vulcanization retarder. It can prolong total vulcanizing time. It can improve processing safety and not affect properties of vulcanizates with sulfenamides or thiazoles. It can significantly improve the storage stability of unvulcanized rubber and high temperature processing safety performance. It is compatible with NBR, SBR, AR and ECO. Used in nature and synthetic rubber compounds (tire /conveyor belt, shoe soles). Actmix® CTP-80GE F500 recommended dosage rate is 0.2-2.0 phr and will be blooming if more than 5.0 phr.

Actmix® Retarder E-80GE F200 by Ningbo Actmix Rubber Chemicals is a N-phenyl-N-(trichloromethylsulfenyl)-benzene sulfonamide. Acts as a retarder. It delays the scorching time, but not affect the curing speed. It is especially designed for thiuram vulcanization system, and can be used as the second promoting agents, reduces curing time and improves production efficiency. It can improve EPDM and NBR the sulfurization cross linking density, improves stretch for stress, and reduces the permanent compression deformation. It is compatible with EPDM/EVM, NBR, SBR, AR and ECO. Actmix® Retarder E-80GE F200 is used in automotive rubber sealing system. Its recommended addition level is 0.5-1.5 phr.

Deovulc® CTP-PVI by DOG Chemie is N-(cyclohexylthio)phthalimide. Acts as a vulcanizing inhibitor. It retards scorching thereby prolonging flow time and storage ability. Slightly scorched compounds can also be brought back to processibility. It is added together with the accelerators in the last mixing step, usually in combination with sulphenamides, but thiurames and guanidines can also be used. Deovulc® CTP-PVI is recommended for NR, SBR, BR, NBR, IIR and EPDM rubbers. The dosage rate is 0.1-1.0 phr.

LIONIN PVI by LIONS INDUSTRIES is a phthalimide-based vulcanization inhibitor. It provides improved cost performance through marginal stock recovery, single-stage mixing, higher processing and curing temperatures. Its activity is linear and higher than most retarders. LIONIN PVI gives scorch control in most sulfur vulcanization. It can be supplied in form of pellets (granules), as well as oil-coated powder and powder.

Rubber accelerator M by Jing Xian Yuelong Metal Rubber Products is a non-toxic 2-mercaptobenzothiazole grade with slight bitter taste. It is easy to disperse. It is used as an ultra-accelerating agent and plasticizer for natural rubber. It is used as a vulcanization retardant in making chloroprene rubber. It acts as a fast vulcanization accelerator for isoprene, butadiene, styrene butadiene, nitrile butadiene & isobutylene-isoprene rubber and EPDM. Rubber accelerator M is used in making tires, inner tubes, rubber belts, shoes, hoses and other industrial rubber products. It can be stored for 2 years.

Tolyltriazole by Eutec Chemical acts as a pre-vulcanization retarder. These white to off-white granules are used for chlorinated rubber and halobutyl rubbers.
