ZOCO 104
by Zochem
ZOCO 104 by Zochem acts as a mixed metal stabilizers (Ba/Zn and Ca/Zn) for PVC plastisols and also as an activator in the vulcanization or curing process. It adds strength to rubber compounds, improves their resistance to heat and abrasion and helps guard against ultraviolet degradation. It is a fine white odorless powder with high purity as well as it is excellent for applications where low surface area reactivity intermediate to ZOCO 103 and ZOCO 100 is required. ZOCO 104 is recommended for tire, resins and most general rubber applications. For rubber, it is used in food, pharmaceutical and other specialized applications.

Struktol® Aktivator 74
by Struktol
STRUKTOL® Aktivator 74 by Struktol is a vulcanization activator. It is a blend of zinc soaps of aliphatic and aromatic carboxylic acids. This cure additive is used in sulfur cure systems in many diene rubbers. When used in NR containing compounds an increased reversion resistance is obtained. It improves physical properties results in higher state of cure and increased modulus. It has a beneficial influence of dynamic properties, lower tan delta has been observed and a reduced heat build up on flexing due to better resistance to reversion may be obtained. It enhances processability, improves flow properties in NR containing compounds. It is also an effective peptizer for the mastification of natural rubber. It can partly or totally replace conventional activators based on fatty acids like stearic acid, zinc stearate, and zinc 2-ethylhexanoate. Recommended dosage level is 2-4 phr. The shelf life of STRUKTOL® Aktivator 74 product is 24 months.
Struktol® Activator 73 A
by Struktol
STRUKTOL® Activator 73 A by Struktol is a multifunctional cure activator. It is a mixture of zinc salts of aliphatic and aromatic carboxylic acids. It is effective for the sulfur vulcanization of diene rubber, especially natural rubber. STRUKTOL® Activator 73 A can partly or totally replace conventional activators based on fatty acids, e.g., stearic acid, zinc stearate, and zinc 2-ethylhexanoate. It offers prolonged reversion time, higher modulus, less heat buildup under dynamic load and reduced compression set at elevated temperatures. It provides improved properties at high-temperature cures and viscosity reduction at high shear. It is used as an effective physical peptizer for the mastication of natural rubber. It improves processability in mixing, extrusion and molding. Recommended dosage level is 2-5 phr, in combination with 2-5 phr zinc oxide. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
