SP-1068
by DKSH
SP-1068 distributed by DKSH is a thermoplastic resin made from octylphenol and formaldehyde. It is used to increase tack in natural rubber and synthetic elastomers, including SBR, BR, IIR and IR.
- It can be used as a stock additive to provide tackiness and is particularly useful in applications requiring strong bonds, especially with synthetic rubbers that may lack inherent tack needed for plied-up construction.
- It is suitable for tire building, for example, plies, tread stock, and sidewalls must hold fast to the green tire until it is vulcanized or cured into an integral unit.
- Recommended dosage level is 3-8 phr.
- SP-1068 has a shelf life of 1 year.
- It is available in Australia and New Zealand.

SP-1045 Resin
by Akrochem
SP-1045 Resin (Old Name: Akrochem® P-101) by Akrochem is a heat reactive, phenolic resin-based tackifier used in the resin curing of butyl rubbers. It is suitable in combination with halogen and zinc donors, yields butyl vulcanizates with outstanding resistance to high heat and compression set. It exhibits non-blooming, non-staining, high modulus values and inherent ozone resistance. It is designed for tire curing bladders, conveyor belts, gaskets and heat resistant packing compounds. It shows compatibility with other elastomers. Recommended dosage level of SP-1045 Resin in butyl is 10-12 phr, chloro-butyl is 4-5 phr and bromo-butyl 1-3 phr.
SP-154 Resin
by Akrochem
SP-154 Resin (Old Name: Akrochem® P-105) by Akrochem is a heat reactive phenolic resin-based tackifier, that was developed for the formulation of solvent-borne polychloroprene cement. It is used in general purpose and heat-activating contact cement. It offers high heat resistance, cohesive strength, shorter time and light color. SP-154 Resin shows compatibility with nitrile- and chloroprene rubber.
Kimresin® KSP 130
by Kimix Chemical
Kimresin® KSP 130 by Kimix Chemical is an aromatic hydrocarbon resin C9 produced by petroleum cracking and catalyzed polymerization. It acts as a tackifier. It also acts as a softener and strengthening agent. It shows low acid value, chemical stability against acid and alkali, good adjustment of viscosity and thermal stability. Kimresin® KSP 130 is compatible with natural rubber.
RC-TX120
by Puyang Ruicheng Chemical
RC-TX120 is a non-poisonous, terpene resin by Puyang Ruicheng Chem. It acts as an excellent tackifier. It exhibits resistance against heat, light, acid, alkali, & radiation. RC-TX120 is recommended for rubber, plastic and cables. It shows good anti-aging, high cohesion and anti-crystallization. It provides stability to oxygen, heat, and light. It dissolves instantly in benzene, toluene, turpentine & gasoline and insoluble in water, methanol and ethanol.
