Optical Brighteners / Whitening Agents for Plastic Compounds

BRUGGOLEN® L11 by Brüggemann is a mixture of optical active substances, heat stabilizers and processing auxiliaries. Acts as light stabilizer and optical brightening agent. Provides compensation of yellow discoloration caused by degradation during processing or by long-term exposure to light, processing stability up to processing temperatures of 320°C, excellent compatibility to polymers and low extractability. It is compatible with polyamides (PA 6, PA 6.6, PA 11, PA 12, PA-copolymers), polyesters (PET, PBT), styrenics (ABS, SAN). Offers excellent protection both in unreinforced and glass-fiber reinforced or mineral-filled polymers. Fluorescent brightener EBF (FBA 185) by Hebei Xingyu Chemical is a fluorescent brightener EBF (FBA 185) acts as a fluorescent brightener. Fluorescent brightener KSN (FBA 368) is a fluorescent brightener. Offers outstanding heat endurance, light fastness and resistance to chlorine bleach. Suitable for all high polymer materials, has the good compatibility with the plastics, especially has strong effect in synthetic fibers, maximum absorb wavelength is 374nm. It does not react with foaming agent and crosslinking agent, does not transfer. Suitable for brightening the polyester, polyamide, polypropylene and wool fabric. It can be used in any process segments of film injection molding, hot compacting material and high polymerized synthetic material.

Calcium carbonate filled LLDPE based masterbatch. It provides satisfactory opacity, whiteness and brightness in final product, reduces cost by replacing the equivalent amount of polymer and improves productivity & performance. It can be used with both PE & PP and shows excellent performance even in adverse conditions. Used to develop blown film application by applying the reinforcing properties of ultrafine calcium carbonate & carrier resin with higher M.F.I. to provide the better mechanical properties to blown film. Sivathene F-Aid is added along with the polymer to prevent the fibrillation of tapes manufactured in raffia tape line. It has been recommended for low and high thickness blown film applications and loading up to 50% as per end product.
