NYRIM® Additive 6 Plus
by Brüggemann
NYRIM® Additive 6 Plus by Brüggemann is a processing aid and impact modifier in the anionic polymerization of caprolactam along with the catalyst BRUGGOLEN® C10 and activator BRUGGOLEN® C20P (pellet form) or BRUGGOLEN® C235 (liquid form). It improves toughness and yield in machining semi-finished products. It can increase the low temperature impact strength of cast polyamide by the formation of a copolymeric structure. The anionic polymerization of caprolactam is inhibited by the smallest amounts of moisture therefore the process requires moisture-free raw materials and moisture proof conditions. It is recommended for large, low-tension semi-finished products such as bars, tubes and plates, to complex, often thick-walled molded parts that cannot be manufactured through injection molding or extrusion. NYRIM® Additive 6 Plus can also be used in rough and tough applications. The dosage level can vary from 2-20%. The shelf life of the product is at least 12 months under (dry, 25°C) conditions.

BRUGGOLEN® TP-C1312
by Brüggemann
BRUGGOLEN® TP-C1312 by Brüggemann acts as an impact modifier for AP-NYLON® casting. It creates the bridge between unmodified cast polyamide and highly impact-resistant NYRIM® PA6 block copolymers, in terms of cost and performance. Used for the production of AP-NYLON® products containing 3 to 20% of elastomer. It is based on an elastomeric polyetherpolyol and chemically bonded to an activator. It is incorporated as a soft polymer segment into the polyamide 6 during the anionic polymerization. It offers impact strength and toughness. BRUGGOLEN® TP-C1312 ranges from 3 to 15%, for very low E-moduli higher dosage levels of up to 40% are possible. The shelf life of the product is 12 months (unopened, dry, 25°C) conditions.
