It is intended for use as an additive in a variety of materials like styrene-based rubbers and block copolymers, epoxies, phenolics, polyurethanes and unsaturated polyesters. Adding NORYL™ SA120 to these systems may improve thermal performance (glass transition temperature), adhesion at elevated temperatures, toughness, dimensional stability, chemical resistance to acids and bases, moisture absorption, and electrical properties (dielectric constant, dissipation factor). It is available in Asia.
NORYL™ PPE POWDERS + CONCENTRATES 640

NORYL™ PPE POWDERS + CONCENTRATES 640 is a medium-high molecular weight polymer based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). This material is intended for use as an additive or a building block in a variety of thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers such as styrenic block copolymers. NORYL™ PPE POWDERS + CONCENTRATES 640 can be used to improve properties (i.e. heat distortion and creep resistance). It is hydrolytically stable and non-hydroscopic (typically less than 0.2% water uptake). The polymer is soluble in common organic solvents like toluene, chloroform, and THF. It complies with the FDA regulation 21CFR 177.2460 and EU Directive 2002/72/EC. It is available in Asia.
NORYL™ SA90

NORYL™ SA90 is a low molecular weight bi-functional oligomer with increased hydroxyl functionality based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). It can be used as a reactive component in epoxy, cyanate ester, and urethane thermosets in electronics and composites applications. It has outstanding solubility in toluene & methyl ethyl ketone(MEK) and a low solution viscosity. Targeted application areas include enhancing the performance (e.g. thermal, dielectric, mechanical, flame retardancy, and moisture uptake properties) of epoxy resins used in electronic packaging which include PCB laminates, copper clad laminates, epoxy prepregs as well as various other composites applications. NORYL™ SA90 can also be blended with thermoplastic elastomers and cured elastomers to enhance properties. It is available in Asia.
XIRAN® IZ1018M

XIRAN® IZ1018M by aurorium is an amorphous thermoplastic random SMANPMI (styrene-maleic anhydride n-phenyl maleimide) terpolymer-based HDT/Vicat enhancer. Increases thermal and dimensional stability, surface adhesion properties and melt viscosity in a number of engineering polymer systems, specifically in styrenics like ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene).
- XIRAN® IZ1018M can be processed in all types of regular polymer processing equipment and can be added to compounding extruder through regular feeder systems.
- Twin screw extruders with a mild screw configuration and vacuum degassing facility are recommended to enable good dispersion.
- It can be used with dosage levels up to 20%.
