Endothermic Blowing Agents for Plastic Compounds

Cel-Span® CFA 840 by Phoenix Plastics is a mixture of polycarbonic acids and carbonates. It is a 40% active endothermic chemical foaming agent concentrate, suitable for a variety of olefin resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Cel-Span® CFA 840 is recommended for extrusion, injection molding, and structural foam molding of polyolefins.

Cel-Span® 899 by Phoenix Plastics is a mixture of polycarbonic acids and carbonate. 40% active endothermic foaming agent concentrates recommended for extrusion applications for a variety of thermoplastic resins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, styrenics, MPPO and ABS. Recommended for extrusion, and structural foam molding of polyolefins, polystyrene, MPPO and ABS. Exhibits a very fine cell structure compared to a typical endothermic foaming agent in extrusion applications. Cel-Span® 899 should be kept closed and stored in the original container, away from light, heat and high humidity environments.

Cel-Span® CFA 844 by Phoenix Plastics is mixture of polycarbonic acids and carbonates. Cel-Span® CFA 844 is a highly loaded 80% active endothermic foaming agent formulated for applications with high gas requirements. It concentrate releases carbon dioxide gas upon decomposition. This product is safe when used under the conditions of intended use. Cel-Span® CFA 844 upon complete decomposition (activation) of the C.F.A., the extruded and injected parts will become white, a color common to endothermic chemical foaming agents.

Cel-Span® 899PS by Phoenix Plastics is mixture of polycarbonic acids and carbonate. 20% active endothermic foaming agent concentrate suitable for a variety of thermoplastic resins such as Styrenics, PC, MPPO and ABS. Cel-Span® 899PS recommended for extrusion, injection, and structural foam molding of polystyrene, MPPO and ABS. Should be kept closed and stored in the original container, away from light, heat and high humidity environments.

TPR by Hangzhou Hi-Tech Fine Chemical is Sodium bicarbonate. Acts as an endothermale foaming agent. TPR is applied in light industrial products such as tools, racket grip, computer keyboard, household goods such as luggage grip, soft tablecloths, curtain, anti-skid pad, medical equipment such as medical drip stoppers, infusion bags, auto industry such as flexible seals, the stall ARGILLITE, damping ring, elastic soft cushion, construction industry, such as decorative sheet, bridge joints, substitute material of PVC, electric packaging industry, such as high voltage electrical connectors, wire and cable insulation as well as sheathing, antistatic electronic components and so on.

It is recommended for extrusion applications for a variety of thermoplastic resins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, styrene, MPPO, and ABS. It is recommended for extrusion, and structural foam molding of applications that require a very fine cell structure compared to a typical endothermic foaming agent in extrusion applications. Cel-Span® CFA 897 is a mixture of polycarbonic acids and carbonates. Recommended usage levels for various applications like for extrusion is 1.0-2.0%, nucleation of direct gas foamed is 0.5%-1.0%, gas counter pressure is 1.0-2.5% and structural foamed molding is 1.5-2.5%.

75553 iD High Temp Endo 6672X by iD Additives is a cost effective, endothermic foaming agent which is suitable for fine cell foam. It reduces the melt viscosity of resin allowing low operating temperatures. It provides quick outgassing. 75553 iD High Temp Endo 6672X can be processed by injection molding, structural foam molding, sheet extrusion, profile extrusion and wood plastic composite processing. It is recommended for pipes.

LF200101 Liquid Micro Fine Cell by iD Additives is an endothermic foaming agent with good cost effectiveness. It is suitable for formulation of micro fine cell foam. It provides quick outgassing. It reduces the melt viscosity of resin allowing low operating temperatures. It is designed for processing structural foam molding, injection molding, sheet extrusion, profile extrusion and wood plastic composite processing. LF200101 Liquid Micro Fine Cell is recommended for pipes.

5811 iD 100 by iD Additives is a cost effective, endothermic foaming agent. It is suitable for formulation of aggressive foam. It is available in white colored pellet form. It reduces the melt viscosity of resin allowing low operating temperatures. It provides quick outgassing. 5811 iD 100 can be processed by injection molding, structural foam molding, sheet extrusion, profile extrusion and wood plastic composite processing. It is recommended for pipes.
