Innovox® 95 distributed by DKSH acts as a desiccant in elastomeric and thermoplastic polymer processing. It is a fine particle size, surface treated grade of calcium oxide which gives excellent dust-suppression, mixing and dispersion characteristics.

It consists of ultra-fine particles of calcium oxide which gives excellent mixing and dispersion characteristics. It contains 0.5% food contact approved dispersion aid which helps to speed mixing and reduces the potential for the calcium oxide to react before it is mixed into the compound.

• It is used in EPDM, silicone and applications such as extrusions and in continuous pressure less vulcanization methods (e.g. UHF, LCM or Hot-Air-Vulcanization).

Innovox® MG distributed by DKSH acts as a desiccant and acid scavenger in rubber and elastomer compounds (EPDM, silicone). It consists of ultra-fine particles of calcium oxide treated with dispersing agent, which gives excellent mixing and dispersion characteristics. It is particularly useful in systems containing chlorine or fluorine. It prevents blisters and bubbles in the finished product.

• It will react with any free hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid to neutralise the acid and prevent any corrosive impact on metal parts.
• It is dust-free product, which is easy to add into any type of mixer system.

Moisture absorber masterbatch with LLDPE as carrier polymer. Used for blown and cast film, injection and blown molding. It is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA.

VENLOOX CaO by Syntheo is a desiccant. It is a powder containing 95% CaO to delay reactivity. It helps in absorbing moisture in plastics, PE, PP, rubber, and PVC chemicals, especially in fillers. It is used in PE-, PP masterbatch and it also prevents blistering and porosity.

Rhenogran® CaO-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a desiccant for rubber compounds of all kinds to prevent porosity. It is used in expanded compounds (micro-cellular rubber), as it provides a more uniform cell structure.

• It exhibits accelerating effect, depending on the recipe of the compound.
• It binds the moisture formed by the calcium hydroxide and enables the production of vulcanizates to be cured without pressure.
• It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder.
• It is suitable in extrusion compounds, technical rubber articles like profiles, seals, belts, straps, conveyor belts, rollers, cable coverings and rubber flooring.
• Recommended dosage level is 2 to 10 phr.
• Rhenogran® CaO-80 has a shelf life of 1 year.

inlime by Eurominerals is an ultrafine ground quicklime (calcium oxide)-based desiccant agent. It has high level of purity, small particle size, low and well-controlled top-cut. It offers reduction of defects (blistering, pin holes, bubbling), powerful reactivity, effectivity and high moisture absorption. inlime is recommended for plastics, rubber and elastomer applications.

PolyCal® OF by MLC is a desiccant additive designed for use in polymer, plastic, and rubber processing.
