SILMALINK AR1028 by Silma acts as a coupling agent in thermoplastic HFFR and a crosslinking agent in silane crosslinkable XL-HFFR compounds based on LLDPE/POE/EVA/EBA filled with ATH & MDH. It is a liquid mixture of functional silanes, radical initiator and additives (anti-scorching, processing aid).
- For Sioplas XL-HFFR compounds, it is designed to perfectly work in combination with SILMASTAB AL2690, AL2691 & AL2692, the masterbatches of tin-based catalysts including stabilizers, metal deactivator, antioxidants and processing aids to reduce die-droll & melt-fracture.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.0% as coupling agent in highly hydrophobic & crack-resistant HFFR (Halogen-free flame retardant) thermoplastic compounds to produce big armored cables exposed to harsh environmental conditions.
- It offers low smoke emission, superior elongation and low moisture uptake of final compound.
- Moreover, 1.2-2.0% dosage is required as crosslinking agent for 2-steps silane crosslinkable XL-HFFR compounds.

SILMALINK AX2292

SILMALINK AX2292 by Silma is a compatibilizer or/and crosslinker in many reactive applications to build a network copolymerization between organic CH groups and organic/inorganic OH groups in presence of accelerators like peroxide and sulfur. It is 50% of functional silane in thermoplastic granules form. It is used simply to mix with the compound pellets during compound/extrusion or injection molding. In the case of formulation with fillers like MDH, ATH and various number of silicates with the presence of OH groups, it can create a chemical bond with them during crosslinking process. It is suitable in various compounding processes like XLPE, crosslinked EVA and rubbers. It is used at a dosage from 0.5-3% it depends on the needs. SILMALINK AX2292 has a shelf life of 6 months.
