UPM Circular Renewable Black™
by UPM
UPM Circular Renewable Black™ by UPM is a renewable, detectable, bio-based functional filler in rubber and thermoplastic compounds. It offers excellent thermal stability during recycling confirmed by melt flow index (MFI) and oxidation induction time (OIT). It provides significantly improved carbon footprint of masterbatch compared to masterbatches using fossil additives and pigments.
- It allows for NIR detectability of the base polymer, thus enabling sorting and recycling of black-colored plastic products.
- It is made from certified feedstock from sustainably managed forests under FSC™ and PEFC, reducing dependence on fossil resources.
- It provides premium asthetics, transparency ensured through ISCC+ certification and an independent life cycle assessment conducted according to ISO 14040/44 standards.
- UPM Circular Renewable Black™ has an outstanding climate performance with a negative carbon footprint from cradle-to-gate considering biogenic carbon.
- It provides deep, rich black coloration that meets the highest standards for luxury packaging and premium products.

Santoweb® D
by LANXESS
Santoweb® D by Lanxess is a treated cellulose fiber product that provides reinforcement for uncured and cured rubber compounds. It is designed for raw edge V-belt base compounds, low-pressure hoses, gaskets, diaphragms, and tire bead apex compounds.
- Increases product stiffness, green strength and reduces die swell, cold flow, and cut growth rate in rubber compounds. It also functions as a filler.
- Offers good bonding to the rubber matrix It does not cause compound staining.
- Santoweb® D should be used with a methylene donating chemical for applications in which adhesion of the fiber to the rubber matrix is critical.
- Santoweb® D shows compatibility with NR, SBR, BR, and CR. It contains 68% wood pulp and 32% SBR binder.
- The recommended dosage for improved green strength is at levels of 1-4% by weight, increased flexural stress at 5-15% by weight, and very significant fiber reinforcement at 10-20% by weight.
Coconut Shell Powder
by Shree Balajee Magnesite
Coconut Shell Powder by Shree Balajee Magnesite acts as a compound filler in the manufacture of phenolic molding powder (Bakelite plastic). Since it has good durability characteristics, high toughness and abrasion resistant properties, it is suitable for long standing use. Coconut Shell Powder shell is similar to hard woods in chemical composition, though lignin content is higher & cellulose content is lower.
