It is used in PBT extrudates and injection molded parts which need improved hydrolytic stability. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
BTWR-100

BTWR-100 by Nanjing Baitong New Material is an anti-hydrolysis agent mainly used for polyester
polymer materials. Its carbodiimide group offers high reactivity. It is designed to inhibit hydrolysis degradation, extend material service life, maintain strength in high temperature and high humidity environments.
- It helps in improving the reprocessing performance of recycled materials.
- It is widely used in polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polybutanol terephthalate (PBT), polyamide (PA) and other shrinkage engineering plastics polylactic acid (PLA), polyhexic acid/butyl terephthalate (PBAT), polymethyl ethyl carbonate (PPC) and polyhydroxyfatty acid esters (PHAs).
- BTWR-100 is also used in biological and biodegradable plastics as well as polyester polyurethane (PU) elastomers.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.2-1.0 phr.
BTWR 500

BTWR 500 by Nanjing Baitong New Material is an anti-hydrolysis agent. It can significantly extend the service life of materials, enhance stability and inhibit the formation of carboxylic acids in hydrolysis reactions. It improves weather-, UV- and water resistance and reduces cracking or aging caused by hydrolysis.
- It maintains the mechanical properties (e.g. tensile strength, toughness) and processing stability of polymers in harsh environments such as humidity, heat, acid and alkali or UV irradiation.
- It extends the life of the material by more than 3 times, which is especially suitable for recycling scenarios of recovered materials.
- BTWR 500 is mainly used for easily hydrolyzed polymer materials, such as plastics and elastomers (PET, PBT, PA (nylon), TPU, TPEE, PLA, PBAT, EVA, etc.), automotive industry, electronic component and food packaging.
- It has recommended dosage level of 0.1-1 phr.
