Anti-block / Anti-tack Agents for Plastic Compounds

Optislip™ ER (Bead) by Cargill acts as an anti-block and slip agent in polyolefins that provides high slip at low dosage levels. It offers mold & torque release, scuff- & scratch resistance, good oxidative stability and excellent heat stability.

• It disperses evenly through the polymer in the melt phase and migrates to the surface where it forms a thin lubricating layer that reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.
• Optislip™ ER (Bead) is suitable for PVC, polyamide, EVA, TPE and polyolefin applications.
• Recommended addition level is 500-2000 ppm for films and 0.2-1.0% for molding applications.
• It has a shelf life of 365 days.

Incroslip™ SL by Cargill acts as anti-scratch and slip agent. It offers long-lasting & high slip performance, excellent color & oxidative stability and improved organoleptic properties. It is a specially developed food approved additive. It is used in caps & closures, automotive, biopolymers, injection molding and film production.

• It is stable in applications exposed to UV light.
• It provides low visible bloom, scuff resistance and mold- & torque release properties.
• It is suitable for polyethylene (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE), polypropylene (PP) and all polyolefins applications.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.25% for film grades, 0.2-0.5% for injection molding grades and upto 1% for compression molding grades.
• Incroslip™ SL has a shelf life of 2 year.

Optislip™ O by Cargill is a primary unsaturated amide-based anti-block agent and high slip agent for polyolefins with quick migration properties. It exhibits scuff resistance and mold & torque release.

• It disperses evenly through the polymer in the melt phase and migrates to the surface where it forms a thin lubricating layer that reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.
• It is recommended for PVC, EVA, nylon, TPE and all polyolefins application.
• Recommended addition level is 500-2000 ppm for films and 0.2-1.0% for molding applications.

Optislip™ VRX (Bead) by Cargill is a bio-based anti-blocking agent and effective slip agent for polyolefins. It exhibits good scuff resistance, high slip, mold- and torque release.

• It offers improved oxidative stability, color, odor and shelf-life compared to other amides.
• It can be dispersed evenly through the polymer in melt phase and migrates to the surface of polymer where it forms a thin lubricating layer.

• It offers slower migration and is recommended in co-extruded and laminated structures.
• It exhibits good mold release in engineering polymers and excellent thermal stability.
• It is suitable for nylon and can be dispersed easily through the polymer in melt phase.

Optislip™ EBO (Bead) by Cargill is a vegetable-based, medium slip and anti-block agent. It is a secondary bis-amide additive which is particularly useful as a pellet anti-tack additive in ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA).

• It offers thermal stability and can be dispersed evenly through the polymer in the melt phase.
