BRB Launches Bi-functional Organosilane for Enhanced Crosslinking and Adhesion introduces , a bi-functional organosilane with versatile applications. Combining six hydrolysable groups with a secondary amine, it serves as a crosslinker, providing stability in various uses like encapsulating urethane prepolymers. BRB Silanil® 829 is specified by CAS number 82985-35-1.

Coupling Agent with Low Reactivity for Enhanced Stability

BRB Silanil® 829 is well-suited for adhesion promotion, functioning as a coupling agent between organic and inorganic substances, and in certain applications, it also contributes to mechanical properties, e.g. in furan or phenolic foundry mould making.

Due to its secondary amine group, BRB Silanil® 829 exhibit lower reactivity, which results in longer stability.
