Epolene® N-35

by Westlake

Epolene® N-35 by Westlake is a low density polyethylene (LDPE) homopolymer grade. It can easily be melt blended with natural or synthetic waxes to increase the tensile strength of wax blends, improve the gloss of paper coatings, aid in pigment dispersion & mold release and improve scuff and rub off resistance in printing inks. Epolene® N-35 is compatible with many polymers, resins and natural & synthetic waxes. Recommended for automotive, building & construction and packaging applications.

Epolene® E-43

by Westlake

Epolene® E-43 by Westlake is a maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene (PP) grade. Exhibits slip resistance in floor polish emulsions. Is compatible with many polymers, resins and natural & synthetic waxes. Because of the polarity and anhydride functionality, Epolene® E-43 is useful for laminating, as a Coupling agent and compatibilizer for PP blends with nylon or EVOH, and for enhancing the strength of composites that utilize reinforcements/fillers such as glass, talc, calcium carbonate, and metals. It is also an excellent pigment dispersion aid. Suitable for processing by compounding. Recommended for automotive and building & construction applications. Also used in emulsions and hot melt adhesives.

EPOLENE® E-20P

by Westlake

EPOLENE® E-20P by Westlake is an oxidized, low color, low molecular weight polyethylene. Possesses low softening point and low viscosity that contribute to the hardness, short drying time, and excellent gloss in coatings. It is used in compounding, emulsifiable applications, high-speed buffable floor finishes, stable water-based emulsions, and as a lubricant for HDPE extrusion and PVC. EPOLENE® E-20P imparts slip resistances, durability and toughness.

Epolene® EE-2

by Westlake

Epolene® EE-2 by Westlake is an oxidized, low density, low molecular weight polyethylene (LDPE) grade. Exhibits exceptional hardness, low softening point, low viscosity, short drying time and excellent gloss. Epolene® EE-2 is compatible with many polymers, resins and natural & synthetic waxes. Recommended for building & construction applications.

Epolene® E-43P

by Westlake

Epolene® E-43P by Westlake is a maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene (PP) grade. Exhibits polarity, anhydride functionality and slip resistance in floor polish. Is compatible with many polymers, resins and natural & synthetic waxes.
