CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ 2081-22 by Trinseo is a high-flow, transparent polycarbonate (PC) resin containing mold release agent. Provides stabilization for high energy radiation such as gamma and electronbeam to reduce color shift. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is available in light purple transparent color designation FC030006. CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ 2081-22 by Trinseo has undergone biocompatibility testing based on ISO 10993 (Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices). It is used in medical applications like renal care: blood filter housings, dialyzer housings and in fluid & drug delivery: syringes, stopcocks and luers. CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ 2081-15 by Trinseo is a transparent polycarbonate (PC) resin. It contains mold release agent. On exposure to high energy radiation can reduce color shift by 50% compared to general purpose polycarbonate resins. It provides sterilization through gamma & E-beam radiation. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ 2081 HD-15 2 is a polycarbonate resin. Contains mold release agent. Provides a color closer to the water look of the natural resin which on exposure to high energy radiation (gamma or electron beam) can reduce color shift by 50% compared to general purpose polycarbonate resins. Possesses very high ductility and toughness over a wide temperature range. Used to provide end users of radiation sterilized medical devices. Has undergone biocompatibility testing based on ISO 10093(Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices) and is also USP standardized. CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ 2081-12 is a transparent polycarbonate resin. Contains mold release agent. It provides improved color compensation and is suitable for applications that require more water white appearance than the traditional purple tinted resin. CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ 2091-15 in single use medical devices (SUDS) like fluid & drug delivery: syringes, stopcocks, luers and in renal care: blood filter housings, dialyzer housings, etc. It is ISO 10093 (Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices) standardized.
