PLYOPHEN® 23041 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a heat reactive liquid phenolic resin dissolved in ethanol. Exhibits high strength in composite material. PLYOPHEN® 23041 is recommended for use as a pre-preging resin for glass cloth, paper and carbon fibers. PLYOPHEN® 43575 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a heat reactive, general purpose, liquid one-step phenolic resin. Exhibits excellent wetting ability. Suitable for applications with stringent adhesion requirements. PLYOPHEN® 43575 is recommended for use in coated abrasive manufacture. PLYOPHEN® 23900 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a liquid one-step phenolic resin soluble in ethanol. It is a high heat resistant, low- or high-pressure laminating varnish. It can be reinforced with glass cloth or glass filaments. Provides exceptionally high strength at elevated temperatures. Laminates produced with it exhibits low moisture absorption, high physical properties at elevated temperatures. PLYOPHEN® 23900 also shows good resistance to organic solvents, weak inorganic acids, hydraulic aircraft oil or de-icing fluids, rain and hot gas erosion. PLYOPHEN® 43204 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a heat reactive, liquid one-step resin. It is soluble in ethanol. Designed for both high and low pressure laminating applications employing glass cloth and other reinforcing agents. The constructed laminates made with PLYOPHEN® 43204 display superior strength and modulus retention. PLYOPHEN® 23057 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a polyamide modified, liquid one-step phenolic resin dissolved in ethanol. It can be incorporated with fillers such as 10% aluminum phosphate and graphite. Suitable for applications requiring improved physical properties on short exposure to temperatures above 600°F. PLYOPHEN® 23057 is designed for use with glass cloth to produce laminates which will have an increased degree of burn-through resistance. PLYOPHEN® 23010 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a heat reactive liquid phenolic resin dissolved in ethanol. Suitable for canvas or paper impregnation. PLYOPHEN® 23010 is recommended for use as a varnish in the production of mechanical laminates, gear stock and rolled tubing. Meets NEMA grade "C" specification for an 8 ounce canvas stock if treated to a resin content of 45-50%, volatiles of 4.5-5.5%. PLYOPHEN® 43703 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a liquid one-step phenolic resin. It is a heat reactive grade, dissolved in methanol. PLYOPHEN® 43703 is designed for specialty laminates made from glass fabric, paper and various other substrates. PLYOPHEN® 43243 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a heat reactive, liquid one-step phenolic resin. It is soluble in isopropyl alcohol. Designed for both high and low pressure laminating processes employing glass fabrics and other inorganic reinforcing agents. It can produce pre-impregnated materials & laminates suitable for vacuum-bag molding at 10-14 psi, press molding at 1800 psi and matched-metal die molding at even higher pressures. Laminates produced with PLYOPHEN® 43243 exhibits exceptionally high temperature resistance.
