Methylon® 75202 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a bisphenol epichlorohydrin based epoxy resin. Possesses a xylene-formaldehyde condensation polymer in a mixture of xylol, diacetone alcohol and butyl cellosolve. Provides color and flexibility. Offers outstanding resistance to chemicals, solvents, acids, alkali and soap solutions. Compatible with epoxies, polyvinyl butyral, short & medium oil alkyds, urea and melamine formaldehyde resins. Soluble in polar solvents like diacetone alcohol, MEK, MIBK, butyl alcohol or mixtures of these solvents with aromatic hydrocarbon solvents. Designed for linings for drums, cans and pails. Films cured with Methylon® 75202 exhibit excellent adhesion, heat and mar resistance. Methylon® 75108 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a coating intermediate containing a mixture of the allyl ethers of mono-, di-, and trimethylol phenols. It exhibits good toughness & excellent adhesion to metals including iron, steel, copper, brass, aluminum, magnesium, glass and many plastics. It provides outstanding resistance to alkalis, acids, soaps, detergents, solvents, salts, oxidizing agents, salt spray, mar and other corrosive materials. <br>
