LITEPOL® is a polyolefin compound reinforced with hollow glass microspheres (filler developed by 3M™ which has a density of less than one fifth of other mineral fillers such as talc or solid glass beads). It exhibits same mechanical characteristics as polypropylene filled with 20% talc but weighs approximately 30% less. Enables reduction of emissions of automobiles. Suitable for lightweight parts for interior components of cars such as dashboard carrier, glove box interior, consoles and air ducts. Approved by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Complies with FCA Material Standard 55246 (approved as Polifor C8 HB/24). LITEPOL® C 8 HB/24 NERO by SoFTeR is a black colored, low density polypropylene copolymer (PP, Copolymer) reinforced with hollow glass bead. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. LITEPOL® C 8 HB/24 NERO complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 and UL 94 HB flame rating. LITEPOL® B2 GFHB/1020 NERO by SoFTeR is a black colored, standard viscosity polyamide 6 (PA 6) reinforced with 10% glass fiber and 20% hollow glass bead. Exhibits weight reduction, good strength, shock resistance, shorter cycle times and exceptional dimensional stability. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for automotive application. LITEPOL® B2 GFHB/1020 NERO complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 and UL 94 HB flame rating. LITEPOL® L15 GFHB/1020 NERO by SoFTeR is a black colored, chemically coupled polypropylene (PP) resin reinforced with 20% hollow glass bubbles and 10% glass fiber. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. LITEPOL® L15 GFHB/1020 NERO complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 and UL 94 HB flame rating.
