SUSTAPEI by Röchling Group is a transparent polyether imide [PEI] grade with brown traces. Exhibits high rigidity, high resistance to high energy radiation, extremely high flame resistance, very low smoke development, very high stiffness, tensile strength & hardness over a broad temperature range, good machinability, good thermoformability, good adhesive properties, good weldability and low thermal coefficient of expansion. Has high dimensional stability under heat, very high continuous service temperature, high electric / dielectric strength, virtually unchanging in a broad temperature and electrical frequency range. Used in medical technology (instrument handles, adapters), electrical & electronic industries (high voltage circuit breaker housings, components for microwave ovens, plug connections, terminal strips) and aircraft construction (facing panels in passenger cabins). SUSTAPEI complies with REACH. SUSTAPEI ESD 90 by Röchling Group is a black colored, electrostatically dissipative polyether imide [PEI] grade reinforced with antistatic agent based on carbon fiber. Exhibits high rigidity and strength and high surface hardness. Used in semiconductor industry, electrical and electronics industry. Complies with REACH. SUSTAPEI GF 30 is a blue-grey colored, amorphous, transparent polyether imide [PEI] grade reinforced with glass fiber. Exhibits extremely high flame resistance, very low smoke development, very high stiffness, tensile strength & hardness over a broad temperature range, low thermal coefficient of expansion, high dimensional stability under heat and very high continuous service temperature. Used in electrical & electronic industries, radio as well as television technology and aircraft construction. Complies with REACH.
