STYPOL® 040-8003 by Polynt is a pre-promoted, flame-retardant polyester resin containing styrene monomer. Offers extremely fast wet-out, early development of barcol hardness, good cure in thin sections and excellent retention of physical properties after water boil. It is suitable for processing by resin transfer molding (RTM). STYPOL® 040-8003 is recommended for electrical, passenger cars, multipurpose passenger vehicles, trucks and bus applications. Meets UL-94 VE-1 & VE-2 flame rating and FMVSS 302 specification.
