Cel-Span® Purge 388 by Phoenix Plastics is a transition purge that contains several proprietary additives that are essential in the cleansing cycle of high temperatures and lower melting polyolefins. Temperatures above 500 °F may cause material to smoke. Can be used directly without any mixing necessary to clean most plastic equipment during color and resin changes. The unique additives and resin system makes it possible to cleanse color resins in less time, in most resin applications. Offers unlimited shelf life, easy to use, no process changes needed, use at the normal resin processing temperature & RPM speed, no mixing required and not just a mechanical purge. Compatible with number of resins such as PE, PP, PS and PA. Designed for injection molding (blow molding), extrusion (blow molding, pipes & profiles) and compounding. Cel-Span® Purge 388 is safe, non-hazardous materials with FDA (Food and Drug Administration) compliance.

Cel-Span® Purge 606P commercialized by Phoenix Plastics contains a unique chemical additive system targeted for applications where clarity must be maintained and resin contaminations are critical. Used at 10%, this additive will remove all debris and because of its polarity, will not stay inside the barrel forcing processors to purge out the purging agent, an activity typical of most purges. Concentrate for polycarbonate and PMMA applications. Designed for injection, extrusion (blow molding) and compounding. Cel-Span® Purge 606P commercialized by Phoenix Plastics additives are listed on the TSCA list and has no adverse health effects.
