Offers good mechanical resistance, good high temperature resistance, good chemical resistance performance and workable viscosity. D.E.N.™ 438-X80 is mainly used for wet-paint system applications. D.E.N.™ 431 by Olin is a multi-functional epoxy novolac resin of lower molecular weight. Offers elevated temperature service and excellent chemical resistance. It can be used where solvents cannot be tolerated and application viscosity needs to remain relatively low. D.E.N.™ 431 is designed for adhesives, electrical, structural laminates and casting applications. D.E.N.™ 438-MK75 by Olin is a highly functional (±3.6) epoxy novolac resin in methyl iso-butyl ketone solution.
